Your cookie choice
On your first visit, StudyBench asks whether you want to accept or reject optional cookies and similar technologies. Your choice is remembered in your browser. You can reopen Cookie preferences from the footer and change that choice later.
Essential technology
StudyBench uses browser storage and similar essential technology where needed to keep authentication/session state, protect account flows, remember your cookie choice and make core product features work. Essential storage is not disabled by rejecting optional cookies because doing so may prevent sign-in or authenticated features from working correctly.
Optional technology
Optional cookies or similar technologies must not be activated merely because you created an account or used StudyBench. Where StudyBench introduces an optional category such as analytics, it must respect the preference you selected before that optional technology is enabled.
Security services
Anti-bot and security services may use necessary browser signals or storage to verify legitimate requests and protect signup, login and other sensitive flows.
Payments and external services
If you open a payment or external service, that provider may use its own cookies or browser storage under its own policies.
Marketing
StudyBench does not treat account creation as consent to marketing emails. Marketing or update-email consent is separate from cookie/session requirements.
Changes
This notice will be updated if StudyBench adds optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookie categories. Optional technology must be wired to the saved preference before production use.
